Real Overland Park has signed Brazilian winger Victor Nichols to a two-year contract through September 2025, the club announced today.
Nichols played for champions Brazil during the 2022 Select World Cup and was one of the main substitutes on the bench for a star-studded Brazilian roster. He also played on loan for the USA team in their group stage match versus India, and was critical to helping an 8-man USA team stun India, coming from a 2-1 deficit to eventually win 3-2.
"I am very excited to sign with Real Overland Park. I believe Real OP is a winning club and is building a strong culture of people with a winning mentality. I look forward to being a part of that and will strive to lifting a trophy with the club." - Victor Nichols
"We are proud to announce a player that was my personal top priority to sign for the club for not only his skill on the field, but also his hard work and wealth of future potential. We look forward to having him on the team." - Real OP Co-Owner Michael Nichols
A versatile player, Nichols is capable of playing in any attacking or midfield role, but is primarily deployed on the wing or in wide midfield capacities. He will be displaying his playing name of "VITINHO" on his jersey. Nichols will also be assisting Real OP in various off-field roles.
